This was highlighted as another set of skills the young people wished to explore, it was decided to combine the art forms into a three hour workshop with the format of the workshop jointly devised by the young people and Chris Searson from Blueprint film.

Pre-workshop discussion explored animation and time-lapse processes, and the scope of what could be achieved.

Divided into two groups the young people worked well with the two artists, gaining both confidence and leadership qualities as they immersed themselves in the work. It was particularly interesting to see how the young people started to stretch what they had originally agreed to achieve at the start of the workshop.

Within three hours the young people were able to devise a concept, storyboard, script, and act in and film the whole short film. The two films can be seen here

The film was shown at the 25th Anniversary event and was well received.
